I'm constantly enhancing my existing skills while learning new ones.

Algorithms and data structures

I've been studying data structures and algorithms in order to act on them since the start of 2022.

I still have a lot to learn but I enjoy to apply various algorithms on different data structures. I'm eager to learn new ones.

Data Science

I'm currently enrolled in the Data science master graduate program at the Polytechnic of Milan and I'm learning new things every day. In particular, I've begun my journey in data science at the start of 2025 with a course on Model Identitfication and Data Analisys that totally captured my interests.

Currently, I'm studying about:

- Data and information quality: the importance of data wrangling (catalog data, clean data, augment data and shape data) related to AI/ML applications and data analyses.

- Systems and methods for big and unstructured data: nowadays the major computation component is placed in the cloud and the traditional data management and storage centered solutions are not able to sustain the the new big-data paradigm. In this course I'm learning about new non relational solutions capable of storing and manage data in big-data contexts.

- Streaming Data Analytics: nowadays data is faster and more massive than ever. In this course I'm learning how to process data on the fly without storing it, but using it just to update a state useful to our analysis or model. In this case we have no need for an incredibly large memory space and at the same time we are way faster than batch-based systems. In this way learning models can adapt real time and AI/ML algorithms cna be deployed with less resources even in IoT devices.

Soldering

I started soldering in 2021 and since then I soldered almost every type of component.

I soldered in complex structures and I know how to use the heat gun to solder small components.

Printed circuit boards designing

While working on the RP1 project, I designed specific boards with selected components to achieve the capabilities I needed.

Since then, whenever I require a board with particular specifications, I open the editor, design the board, and send the order.

This skill has been a game changer in my projects.

3d printing

Whenever I need a component for one of my projects, I design it myself with Autodesk Inventor and print it with my 3D printer.

I've been using 3D printers since 2021 and since then I've faced a lot of problems (broken parts, software malfunctions, hardware malfunctions) with these machines but I solved them all, allowing me to learn even more.

I was even able to receive a discount from a 3D printer company for pointing out a solution to a problem.

Additionally, I can design metallic components and then order them from a CNC company.

Project management

The projects I've developed enabled me to acquire strong project management skills. I know how to create a plan and adapt it when unexpected problems arise.

Team work

I've done team projects both in and outside the academic environment and I always act as a team player.

I help others and, when I need assistance, I'm able to express my problem in a clear and effective way.

In stressful situations I can serve as a point of reference for the team and I have a strong mentality to handle such circumstances.

Ability to recognize the qualities of each person

I want to separate this skill of mines from the team work because I think that being a team player and recognizing people's qualities are two differetn things.

I enjoy getting to know people, and after a period of interaction, I understand where they excel and in which fields thay like to apply themselves.
